Bormio is a town in the heart of the Alps, and is well known for its excellent skiing and thermal baths. At 1225 metres above sea level, Bormio is a fascinating Alpine town with an historic centre. It is located in the Stelvio National Park and is waiting to welcome you for spending a completely relaxing holiday. Only a few kilometres from Livigno and Santa Caterina Valfurva, it is an excellent point of departure for excursions in the hills and high mountains.



Apart from downhill and freestyle skiing, Bormio can offer you numerous other activities, such as ice skating, snowshoeing through woods, sledding, tobogganing, and shopping in the many stores specialising in local products in the town's historic centre. The area is full of wonders to discover: various hiking trails through the hills and mountains, Nordic walking and mountain biking over mountain paths are organised. Cycling through the major passes (Gavia, Stelvio, Aprica and Mortirolo), a nine-hole golf course, swimming at the Bormio Thermal Baths and summer skiing on the Stelvio glacier are also available.
